Amelia is a filmmaker, writer, and comedian based in New York City. Her films have received critical acclaim from several festivals, including the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY), the Women’s Independent Film Festival in Hollywood, the Montclair Film Festival, and NewFilmmakers New York. In 2017, she graduated cum laude from Barnard College with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Film Studies.

During her time at Barnard and Columbia, she founded Third Wheel Improv, was an original cast member of CUSS (Columbia University Sketch Show), and acted in live sketch comedy theater (Latenite). Her senior year she wrote The Varsity Show, Columbia's oldest performing arts tradition. After college, Amelia began training in improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.

Currently, Amelia is pursuing a master’s degree from The University of Chicago, which, believe it or not, is the birthplace of improv comedy.
